Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk is out for tonight's game vs the Anaheim Ducks and was labeled day to day by Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy. One would think this absence is related to the somewhat questionable hit from behind by Pierre-Luc Dubois on Grzelcyk during Saturday's matinee against the Jets.

Grzelcyk did return to this game after a short period in the locker room, so hopefully it is not a long term issue. Mike Reilly has been activated from the COVID protocol and will slot back in on the second pair with Brandon Carlo and take Grzelcyk's place on the second power play unit. Urho Vaakanainen has been bumped up to the top pair with Charlie McAvoy.
